Coach: End of Season Wrap-Up Message
Hi Everyone, Just a short message to wrap up the remainder of the season. Congratulations to everyone on a very successful season. Some of the highlights include a top twenty overall finish in the YMCA National Virtual Championships out of 184 teams, and an outstanding performance at Districts with championships in (3) Classes and every Class finishing top 6 in the District. Very exciting stuff. Thanks for all your hard work!!! As you know, for those who have not qualified for additional championships the season is winding down. I hope those of you that do not continue, enjoy your break and come back in the next or following season motivated and ready to work hard again to continue to improve. Many of you have asked about options for your kids during the break. Please email me or stop by my office with questions and we will try to determine what is best for your child. Hope you are all ready to continue swimming fast at the remaining Championships!!! Coach Taffe and The Coaching Staff
All Aboard! Last Stop to New Englands Meet Posted for Opt-In
A new meet has been added to the Events page: All Aboard! Last Stop to New Englands Meet at Melrose YMCA on 3/9 - 3/11. This meet is for swimmers who have not made cuts for New England YMCA Championships. Please review the eligibility report below. Please visit the Events page, review the meet information, and opt-in if you wish to attend. Meet information and the opt-in button can be found on the Events page. Coach Taffe: Some of you on this list already have 1,2,or 3 New England cuts. You may use this meet to practice racing, but not in the events you have qualified for, or to try to qualify in different or additional events. Some of you that are on this list have suggested you may not want to continue and try for cuts. That is OK and congratulations on your season. To the others, congratulations and lets get to work to get ready to swim faster!!!

Please Submit Your Photos for the Team Banquet Slide Show
Every year at the team banquet we have a slide show running on the screen with pictures of the swimmers from the year's meets and practices. We like to include one or two pictures of each swimmer, so we need _your_ pictures! The best pictures are ones taken at practice or during meets. Please submit the photos as files named for the swimmer (e.g., "NatalieCoughlin.jpg") to Kevin Rohdes using the link below before 2/27. If you cannot use the link, please set your subject line to "BYB Photos" to make Kevin's life easier. If you do not wish you swimmer to be in the slide show, please let him know using the link below.
