2011 Burbank YMCA Invitational Meet
| The 2011 Burbank YMCA Invitational Meet was hosted by the Burbank YMCA Bluefins swim team on December 17 and 18, 2011. |
Session Times
| There were three sessions. Session I (8&U, 13&O): Saturday, 12/17 Warm-up 1:05PM, Meet 2:00PM. Session II (9-10, 11-12): Saturday, 12/17 Warm-up 4:45PM, Meet 5:45PM. Session III (All): Sunday, 12/8 Warm-up 2:00PM, Meet 3:10PM. |

Parking
| Ample, free street parking is available on Birch Meadow Drive. Please do not park in the YMCA lot which is reserved for members using the other facilities. We recommend you do not attempt to turn onto Arthur B. Lord Drive for drop-off as it will likely be very congested. It is a short walk from the lots on Birch Meadow Drive (see map). |
| Swimmers from Andover-North Andover YMCA Hurricanes (ANA), Attleboro YMCA Tsunami (AYT), Burbank YMCA Bluefins (BYB), Malden YMCA Croken Crocodiles (MAL), Melrose YMCA Sharks (MELY), Peabody-Lynnfield YMCA Piranhas (PLYP), and South Shore YMCA Strypers (SSYS) are all going to be there. We expect (160) swimmers for Sessions I and II, (348) for Session III. |
| Entries will be accepted on and after November 15th, 2011. Entries received before November 15th, 2011 will be considered received on November 15th, 2011. Entries must be received no later than December 3rd, 2011. |
Volunteering
Volunteer Arrival Time
| Volunteers should arrive early, check-in, and report to their team leads. We want to be setup and running smoothly when the other teams arrive. For Session 1 please arrive at 12:15PM, for Session 2 please arrive at 4:30PM, and for Session 3 please arrive at 1:00PM. Can't remember what you signed up for or haven't signed up yet? | Please contact the Bullpen Lead if you are a visiting team parent who can help with a bullpen. When you arrive, please report to the Bullpen Lead, Valerie Wadell. |
| We still need volunteer help from _everyone_! If you can chip in, please check the link to SuperMeets. SuperMeets is a web page that lets you see what we need and sign-up. Examples are: "bring a bag of apples," be a timer, work at a table selling snacks, or fill out the backs of Personal Best award ribbons. Chances are you can find something that works for you. We will try to keep the SuperMeets list up to date with jobs and descriptions so you can plan ahead. |

Timing Assignments
| We need a lot of timers to run a meet. We need volunteers from home and visiting teams. The schedule of timing lane assignments for each team is attached below. |
Team Bullpen Room Assignments
| All 8 & Under swimmers will be on deck and escorted to lanes at the proper time. Other ages will be in classrooms. See the attached document for details. |
